mata7 45 Posted October 13, 2016 Posted October 13, 2016 i dont know if this is the right forums to post this, if no please sorry so i change my password here on the forums, i can log in with my new password on the forums without problem, but if i try to connect to http://app.emby.media/ i get invalid user name and password, same password that i can login on the forums how do i update the Emby connect password to sync whit my forums password thanks in advanced
Tanamur 53 Posted October 13, 2016 Posted October 13, 2016 Server: Version 3.0.7300.0 (3.0.8000.0 pending install) FireTV: Version 1.2.31a I have been getting similarly strange login behaviour for two weeks. I have both the 1st and 2nd gen FireTV boxes. I have set up both devices with "Connect Login" and successfully confirmed the PIN at emby.media/pin. When I set the local app to automatically log me in, exit and re-enter the app, it always reports the error dialog "Error Signing In - Send report to developer?" I have gone to the system, stopped app, deleted cache, deleted data, uninstalled app locally and from cloud and reinstalled, confirmed pin and logged in only to get the same results. Any suggestions? It may not be you guys. Actually almost sure it is not. I unlinked my account just now and relinked. Then while my phone is not connected to my wifi but on mobile data i accepted the email link on my phone and got the page could not be displayed for the verify page of the accept link. Redid this on my wifi and boom. I think either ATT is blocking any https//*emby.media I cannot go to any page with this on their network. Edited November 13, 2016 by Fratopolis
Fratopolis 64 Posted November 13, 2016 Posted November 13, 2016 I have an ARUBA AP at my house that tunnels all traffic back to my work then out the internet from there for home access to my office without using VPN. And it works using that. It's ATT, sorry to bug you on this. Good to know if others have this issue damn att Now though it says "connection failure unable to connect to the selected server right now". I was able to log in through the remote AP without issue just cannot connect lol. I'm sure I hosed something in the port forwards i'll figure it out. Thanks though, you are always quick to resolve

I've made some changes on this end that may help to resolve this issue.
