muksuluuri 1 Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 Hi, I have been using osmc on a raspberry pi 2 for quite some time now. I recently installed emby server on the pi using this script: https://discourse.osmc.tv/t/testing-simple-emby-server-installer/17904 In other words, I have both emby and kodi on the same machine. I get Emby error, check the log for more information. And here's the log: http://paste.debian.net/869012/ On the pi Kodi has connection to the Emby server but it is not syncing the database. I can access the files directly from videos/files, but I get no "Movies" etc. On my other machine, on Linux Mint, Kodi is working perfectly and is able to connect to the Emby server on the pi. So it appears that there is no problem with the server, but only with the addon on the pi. I really hope to get this working. Otherwise I suppose I will have to choose mysql. Muksuluuri
muksuluuri 1 Posted October 12, 2016 Author Posted October 12, 2016 I just installed Kodi on my Android Nexus 7 tablet and that works flawlessly too. No problems on the server side. Only on the addon on the pi.
xnappo 1611 Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 Some sort of network problem. This is the error: ERROR:: Server unreachable at: http://192.168.11.5:8096/emby/Users/Public?format=json You can get to that address (http://192.168.11.5:8096/emby) from a web browser on the same machine?

I can ssh into the machine and open that address with links browser, yes. I don't have a graphical web browser on the raspberry pi.

If you go in the add-on settings > Emby tab, is your username there? Once the username is added, the add-on should start working. Edited October 13, 2016 by Angelblue05 1

The username was present in all other machines running kodi. 1
