BorgSquared 2 Posted October 9, 2016 Posted October 9, 2016 Hey, For some tv shows the new episodes are showing up as missing in the library. The files are actually there but Emby doesn't seem to recognize them. This is only happening for a select few shows and only for the new seasons. If I choose to refresh the show or season, the new episodes show up properly for a few minutes before disappearing again. I am not sure if this helps but when these seasons were first added they had the wrong show name. They showed up as Bachelor (UK) even though I don't have that show. I ended up doing a manual refresh and deleting the original images to fix that. Weird thing is the missing episodes happen to coincide with those misidentified seasons. This problem is extremely annoying because I cannot play any episodes for those seasons unless I refresh and then immediately go and play that episode. I have tried removing the library and re-adding it but the problem has persisted. Is this a known issue? Is there something I can do to fix this? I attached screenshots of what it normally shows and what happens for a few minutes after refresh. The latest log is attached as well. Thanks. Log.txt
Solution Luke 42085 Posted October 28, 2016 Solution Posted October 28, 2016 Hi, I think there is an issue with the upgrade from really old server versions. Can you do the following to correct it: Shut down the server. Delete the file C:\Users\Brent\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\data\library.db Start the server back up then run a library scan. Let us know if this resolves the issue. Thanks ! 1
pupmeister 0 Posted November 4, 2016 Posted November 4, 2016 I have searched all through the appdata folder and cannot find the folders or file that you mentioned.
ebr 16195 Posted November 4, 2016 Posted November 4, 2016 For you it would be Mediabrowser-server/data...
Luke 42085 Posted November 4, 2016 Posted November 4, 2016 Hi, has Ebr's tip helped you locate the folder? Another way you can find the path is right on the front page of your Emby Server dashboard, listed under the Paths section.
pupmeister 0 Posted November 5, 2016 Posted November 5, 2016 Thanks, found the folder now. Now waiting for the scan to complete
BorgSquared 2 Posted November 5, 2016 Author Posted November 5, 2016 Thanks rebuilding the library did indeed fix the issue.
