Unset/Mixed - Sorting By Name?

Is there any reason why for unset/mixed libraries sorting by name separates movie and series entries? Based on ascending or descending - movies are either put right at the start before any series entry or at the end.

 

Doesn't that kinda defeat both the concept of a "mixed" library and the concept of sorting by name?

 

Strangely enough that is the only sorting criteria with this behavior. Any other sorting citeria (comunity rating, release date, etc.) does indeed strictly order the entries without any regard to the media type.

It sorts them first by folders, then by name, so folders at the top in other words.
