Changes to Original Title not saving

Running Version 3.0.7200.0

 

On a recently added movie, the original title comes up in Japanese kanji characters. When I go to change the field to the English literal translation (different from the Title) or something else I prefer and save it, when I recheck the info or the .nfo, it does not change from the Japanese characters it pulled during the original metadata scan. If I make other changes to the info with the metadata manager, like website url, or sort name, those changes save without issues, to the web gui and the .nfo. Changing other original titles that I customized in the past also exhibit this issue. Deleting everything in the original title field also does not persist after saving.

 

I tried restarting the server, restarting emby, and rerunning the media library scan many times.

This is reproducible in beta also.  Log reflects change and refreshes but nothing changes in MM or nfo.

Thanks for confirming it's reproducible. My log also shows no errors when attempting to save a changed Original Title.
