Server Doesn't Restart

If an update is applied and the server attempts to restart it will shut down but never restart. The same thing happens if I install a plugin. If I click "restart" the server will shut down but not restart. I have to wait a few minutes then manually start it. "Allow the server to restart automatically...: is checked.

 

Am I doing something wrong?

Are you running as a service?  I've been seeing the same thing with the auto restart and updates.  Sometimes it works, but more often than not I have to start the service manually after an update.  Even when I do a manual update the Restart button doesn't always work.   After this mornings auto update to v163 it happened again

I have tried it both ways. I'm not using the Server Restart plugin if that makes any difference. For now I'm just doing everything manually.
