Episoded assigned to wrong TV Show

Hi all,

I am running Emby version 3.0.5986.0 on Unraid and I have an Issue with the shows "Fear The Walking Dead"

and "The Walking Dead".

The episodes of both shows reside in their dedicated folders (#ShowName/#Season/*), but Emby assigns all episodes

found in "The Walking Dead" folder to the "Fear The Walking Dead" show.

How do I fix this?

Thanks & regards

Matthias

Check the tvdb Id in the metadata manager, are they the same? Sounds like series pooling is being applied incorrectly due to incorrect metadata.

Hi,

I probably didn't make that clear in my first post. The series "The Walking Dead" is not created in my library by Emby.

Only "Fear The Walking Dead" is there and all epoisodes of both shows are assigned to it.

Regards

Ok so is this correct? You have two physical folders: The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead

On your server, you only see Fear the Walking Dead which contains both episodes from TWD and FtWD.

But in the server metadata manager, you should see both Fear the Walking Dead and The Walking Dead. Make sure the tvdb id is correct for both (they should be different).

I checked this. Episode 1 of season 1 of The Walking Dead was identified as episode 1 of season 1 of Fear The Walking Dead.

So this episode was found twice in my library with identical identifiers. I fixed this by renaming the Fear The Walking Dead episodes

to something that could not be identified by Emby. Then I triggered a library scan. The episodes of The Walking Dead were still assigned

to the Fear The Walking Dead show. Then I hit "identify" and corrected this by manually picking The Walking Dead.

After this, I undid the previous renaming and did another library scan. The Fear The Walking Dead episodes were identified correctly.

Now everything seems to be in order.

Thanks for your time and help.
