Moved Emby from one user acct to another-Problems ensued

Long story short, I am building a tiny house and am restructuring my entire network. I took my media server that run Emby, and others, off the domain. Of course that means a new user account must be used so I moved Emby from my User.DOMAIN account folders to my User folder. Did a bit of editing and boom everything is awesome.... for about 2 hours when I quit watching the Rangers beat the Angels and went to go watch some saved media in my library only to find out my library is gone. I did have: Live TV - Movies - 3D Movies - Music Videos - TV Series. Now it only shows Live TV.

Any help in this matter would be appreciated.

I don't see anything that would prevent library access. have you tried running a library scan? double check the folder paths in ilbrary setup. also, double check library folder access for the emby user you are using.

Also, do you recall when this installation was first installed?

6-8 weeks ago. Right when I joined the community.

The library looks set up correctly, just like it was. I dont know when the last scan was. Usually it happens by itself a few times a day.

Library scans take less than 5 seconds, and they used to take an hour. I have completely rebuilt my folder structure for my library. Deleted all old entries and put in new ones. Scan still takes less than 5 seconds.

Can you show a screenshot of library setup? thanks.

if you add a new library with some type of test folder, does that show up?

I added a folder for music that held about 200 mp3s and it did a scan that took about a minute, but no, it does not show up in the player interface. It is listed in the library interface in the back end.

I believe the library is working right, its just that I can't see them, and I have checked that the users have all libraries shared to them.

there is a file in my server folder called library.db-wal that contains a crap ton of references to my old user folder and not the new one. I think this is the issue.

yea that is what i'm thinking. I will do some testing but for now you might just want to delete the library.db file and then run a library scan.
