Are nfo files updated when xml file data is changed

Hi, I've just reinstalled emby server on a new pc and have noticed all media files have had nfo files created.

 

I have disabled 'download artwork and metadata from internet' option but have 'save in media folders' and 'nfo metadata savers' ticked.

 

No a problem having nfos created but does emby server update the nfo if I make a change to the xml file using a 3rd party tagger?

Tricky but I believe if you have reader set to xml, the changes should be written to nfo.  But @@Luke would have to confirm.

Sorry, yes I have reader priority set to xml and then nfo.

anytime data is saved it will be saved based on your settings. so if the xml is changed then yes, most likely.
