Deleting metadata deleted all of my videos for that data

I went to delete an entire season of metadata from the Metadata Manager. It deleted all of the metadata for that season but also deleted the actual video files for that metadata and they are not in the recycle bin or anywhere to be found. Has anyone experienced this before?

Hi, how did you do this? We don't actually have a delete metadata function. We have delete for deleting media and we have refresh for refreshing metadata. Did you click delete? We should probably rename that to Delete Media.

Yeah, that's correct. I selected "Delete".

 

Luckily I have a backup of all of my videos so no big deal but just wanted to ask the question and bring it to someone's attention.Thanks for the quick reply
