Emby Intro

Not sure if this goes here but made this intro with Emby logo before the movie starts.

@@Luke Did you think about building up a user content based intro library for cinema mode in the future? Creative heads like @@theking2008 or @@Jack Burton could upload their stuff and Emby plays the intros randomly when cinema mode is enabled. Plus web found intros could also be submitted. Just an idea.

While that would be interesting, we cannot provide any form of video uploading/sharing from our site between users.

Perhaps an intro plugin where e.g. youtube links can be inserted.

Shorty1483 that would be a great idea for a plug in to link YouTube Intros. If you go with a plug in it would be cool if the plugin reads the metadata of the movie and it chooses an intro that has the same metadata as the movie, i.e., Action movie plays an action intro.

This has to be done in a way that does not violate the TOS of YouTube.  That could be done on some platforms but not others.  Some of the most relevant items are:

Your API Client will not, and You will not encourage or create functionality for Your users or other third parties to:
...
10. access any portion of any YouTube audiovisual content by any means other than use of a YouTube player or other video player expressly authorized by YouTube;
11. store copies of YouTube audiovisual content;
...

So some apps can support that, but others can't.
