Triplefun 1 Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 I cannot find the MBT install directory in program files (x86). As such, every time I want to access MBT I have to rerun setup and process a fresh download and install. Is this a feature of the 'beta'?
ebr 16169 Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 It isn't installed into program files. It creates a shortcut in your start menu for you.
gcoupe 63 Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 It isn't installed into program files. So you don't intend MBT to be certified by Microsoft then? Section 10.1 here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/windows/desktop/hh749939
Deathsquirrel 745 Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 Can't imagine why they would. Unless the program has changed dramatically, logo certification costs money and offers absolutely no value to an app that's distributed this way.
A8HTPC 38 Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 (edited) In windows 7, its installed in "C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\MediaBrowser-Theater\System\MediaBrowser.UI.exe". Never used windows 8 so not sure if its the same Edited January 21, 2014 by A8HTPC
sasaba 5 Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 (edited) In 8.1 it is in the same directory as mentioned above for win7. At least that is where the file that is launched by the installed shortcuts is. Edited January 22, 2014 by sasaba
