Ethyria 8 Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 Hey Guys, XBMC looks for episode images in the season folders along-side the episode, eg: S01E01 - Pilot.mp4 S01E01 - Pilot.nfo S01E01 - Pilot-thumb.jpg I know MBS has the ability to extract episode images, but I am wondering if there is any way to have MBS put them into the season folder in the XBMC format of: S01E01 - Pilot-thumb.jpg So far I still rely on Metabrowser for episode image extraction and Actor images (locally to series folder) So I am very keen to know if these features are on the cards at all so I can make the switch to MBS completely. Thanks guys, again awesome work with MBS.
Luke 42077 Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 yes if you use the xbmc image saving convention, which is the default, then that's where episode images will get saved.

Thanks for the quick reply. I've double checked all my settings and everything is set correctly for XBMC saving, including the tickbox for image extraction. As a test I loaded up a show that definitely has no episode thumb on thetvdb.com, removed the metadata and artwork, and re-scanned it. I did a refresh on the show and a full library scan. All the rest of the metadata loaded perfectly in an XBMC compatible format, but MBS still didn't extract any episode images to the season folder. Edited January 16, 2014 by Ethyria
Solution WWWestern 94 Posted January 16, 2014 Solution Posted January 16, 2014 MBS never saved extracted images in the local media folders. They only saved in \extracted-video-images folder. It's by design. 1
