Hello everyone,

Now that Slysoft is kaput... Has anyone here purchased the new AnyDVDHD software from Redfox?? Are they keeping up with new disc encryption formats with periodic updates?? It's been months since I backed up a movie due to my software of choice no longer working.

Thanks.

I bought a one year subscription for the new AnyDVDHD software from Redfox.  I'm not quite ready to go for a lifetime subscription yet.  There are occasional updates to address issues with new disks.  So far I have not had any issues decrypting new releases.  Having said this, the updates are  far less frequent than I remember them being with Slysoft.

It's the same developers. It works just as well as before.

I haven't bought any new Blu-ray's since angry birds. I have been using Any DVD from Redfox with no issues. Yes the updates seem slower but I expect that to change as they get further into the new company.

Is there a reason you use AnyDVD vs MakeMKV?  I use Makemkv and have never had a problem with it.

I also use make mkv, never had a single issue with it
