wex101 12 Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 Is there a way for me to increase the time it takes to play a video file before it times out and creates an error? The hard drives on my server take awhile to wake up and get going, and the plugin doesn't give my server enough time to wake up the hard drives and send the video over forcing me to click on the video within Kodi again to get it to play. Somewhere I read about a solution through editing the advancedsettings.xml, but can't remember what to configure. I didn't try that. Maybe this information helps you to find a solution. Edit: I hope that you talk about samba shares?
