Luke 42078 Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 well first can you show us what you see now in the web app? thanks.
osak00006 12 Posted September 3, 2016 Author Posted September 3, 2016 well first can you show us what you see now in the web app? thanks. Hi Luke, I have 587 episodes in the Disney Animated Shorts directory. They are all named accurately, and match the latest data from theTVDB. Emby has only recognized 516:
osak00006 12 Posted September 3, 2016 Author Posted September 3, 2016 While I'm not sure how to go about figuring out which files are in my folder, but "missing" from Emby, here are a few things that stick out to me from looking at the series... The 2016 season folder doesn't appear to get scanned in properly: TheTVDB does have a poster and data for this the 2016 season Most importantly, though, is figuring out why 71 episodes are missing from Emby. What steps should I take to identify the missing files/episodes?
osak00006 12 Posted September 3, 2016 Author Posted September 3, 2016 Can we see more than that? thanks. Yes, second post added
Luke 42078 Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 which season is missing an episode? and for that season, what does that look like in the web app?
osak00006 12 Posted September 3, 2016 Author Posted September 3, 2016 (edited) which season is missing an episode? and for that season, what does that look like in the web app? That's where I'm stuck. I'm not sure how to go about pinpointing which seasons are missing episodes without manually comparing each folder to Emby... In Kodi I would use something like Missing Movies Scanner... Is there a way in Emby to pinpoint which files exist in my sources, but aren't scanned into Emby? Edited September 3, 2016 by osak00006
Luke 42078 Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 can't you just click on a season and eyeball it?
osak00006 12 Posted September 3, 2016 Author Posted September 3, 2016 can't you just click on a season and eyeball it?Yes, but there's a TON of seasons... doing that now Sent from my HTC6535LVW using Tapatalk
osak00006 12 Posted September 3, 2016 Author Posted September 3, 2016 So here's where things get weirder... On a fresh scan, it pulls in every single episode. 587 of 587. From there, it seems to remove some. The following Seasons are removed until it becomes 516 of 587 They show up in the TV show view, but have no number reflecting episodes counted from that season 2015 2014 2013 2012 2011 2009 2007 2006 2005 2004 2003 2002 1999 1998 1992 1990 Log attached server-63608459821.zip

Luke 42078 Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 Can you install the dev server from the website, run a library scan, then see if that makes a difference? thanks.
osak00006 12 Posted September 3, 2016 Author Posted September 3, 2016 Can you install the dev server from the website, run a library scan, then see if that makes a difference? thanks. Not sure I'd I can. I'm running on Unraid. Is there a dev build for Unraid docker? Sent from my HTC6535LVW using Tapatalk
Luke 42078 Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 Since we don't have dev builds for unraid, let's try this. Can you please start fresh by deleting the file /usr/lib/emby-server/data/library.db Then start the server and let me know how it goes. Without the content type override you had before, you might see a better result. Thanks.
