NeedHelpThisOneTime 0 Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 Hi All, I'm a long time user of Emby and Windows Media center. I used to use them both on multiple XBOX's running as Media center extenders around the house. I have now replaced them with multiple intel NUC's still running Windows Media Center as the main GUI. It gives me lots more options to install other usefull software into the main media center front end and keep all the live TV stuff that Media Center still does better than Kodi. I know roll your eyes in amazement that anyone is still bothering with media center up front but this setup works well for me! The only downside to the whole arrangement is that you cannot do centralised recordings. The Guide on the NUCs does not reflect what the guide on the main Desktop PC (The one with the TV tuner cards in) is recording. If you record a program on a NUC it records to that NUC. No issue though I have a DVB link Media Center setup and have integrated the DVB Link Guide into the Media Center front end so the real guide can be checked and new programs recorded on the main desktop from the NUCs using the DVB Link Guide. I usually set the bulk of the family's TV in one go at the start of the week but they usually want to check I have got everything and its a pain for them to do going through the guide so I happened on Emby which I had installed already to share to the NUCs all my movies saved on the desktop and integrated live TV into using Server WMC and could now easily show the schedule of programs to be recorded. You can see my setup here:- My Problem is that I used to be able to have a link called Server Schedule that opened google chrome pointed to "http://192.168.0.10:8096/web/livetv.html?tab=4"which directly opened the recording schedule of my desktop PC using Emby (as shown above) so the full list of scheduled recordings could be checked. Now after I have updated emby I think Emby is now working off some new java div based frame arrangement bringing different DIVS to the foreground and I just cannot get it to open directly to the scheduled recordings page. I know my people could use a mouse to click on it from the live tv initial page which is as close as my old link gets now but I have this whole setup working off remote control. Can anyone tell me how I might get a link to work that goes directly to the page again? Best Regards Gareth
