Android subtitles transcoding audio missing when skipping

Hi guys,

 

I've noticed when playing a  file on the android app with subtitles, whenever transcoding takes place, if you skip ahead on the seekbar audio will stop playing. The video and subtitles just continue on their own.

 

If you disable subtitles altogether for playback audio will playback normally when you seek ahead. If you enable subtitles audio playback stops.

 

This will only occur when transcoding and not when direct playing.

 

It does not occur in the web player, or when streaming to a chromecast in the above scenarios.

 

Anyone else experiencing this?

 

I have tested on a Nexus 5x running Android 7.0, and on a Note 3 running Android 5.0 with both exhibiting the above behaviour. Using chrome on both devices and using the web player functions normally as expected - it would appear the issue lies with the android app.

 

If I need to supply logs for this behaviour please let me know.
