Channel Mapping Error

Hi there, new to emby but loving it so far with one small problem. Im using a ,3u playlist via the liveTV which is all fine except for the channel mapping. ive linked the xml TV url - http://is.gd/sstreams which doesnt automatically map. - Which while annoying is fine. So ive tried manually mapping but the problem im getting is that its mapping every single channel to the last channel ive selected

Yeah, in emby at least they are all showing as channel 0 - not when same m3u is imported into kodi or perfect player tho

with further experiementation - it only reverts all the channels to the last selected channel AFTER going back into the channel chooser. If you dont go back into the manual channel chooser emby keeps the selected channels

ignore that - it doesnt, after checking the xml of the liveTV settings, it`s def only storing the last saved channel

Ok so in this case we're parsing the channel numbers as -1, but it should actually be coming from the end of the url.

I thought the -1 in the m3u data tells the player to ignore the length of the stream for continuous playback?

The guys in the stream service seem fairly keen to get it up and running so what can i tell them needs to be changed ?

For the next server release we'll use the 178.m3u8 -> 178 as the channel number, if the previous line has -1.

For an immediate resolution, you can change the top line from

#EXTINF:-1

to

#EXTINF:178
