chef 3810 Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 Anyone else experiencing audio during playback, that sounds like it is being play under water. Not sure how else to explain it. "Gar-gal-ie" audio.
pmac 143 Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 (edited) @@chef, is this issue strictly happening within MBT? ie. Have you tried playing anything else with audio that will go through the same output? It might sound silly, but I've had that kind of sound before, but it turned out all it was is that some of my speaker connections were loose lol. The first time I heard it, was on an old "Home Theatre-in-a-box" and the only sound I was getting was through the subwoofer. It was catching some of the mids as well, so it sounded almost exactly like it was sound playing "underwater" Edited January 13, 2014 by pmac

Media Browser Classic seems fine. I realize this is strange because they are both using the same LAV Codecs. Does Media Browser Theater save different settings for LAV than MBClassic? I thought it might have to do with audio streams in my MKV container, but I can confirm that all audio streams (DTS, DTS-HDMA etc.) are sounding "water-ery" Edited January 13, 2014 by chef

MBT is 32 & MBC will be 64 on 64bit Windows.
