fonzie 22 Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 (edited) I've had Emby scraping movies perfectly for a long time. Just recently however, things changed. New movies do not scrape the tmdb id (it leaves that field blank) and also do not scrape overview (it just scrapes short overview) or scrape cast. Lastly, it does not grab any images other than a small movie poster that is not from tmdb or fanart.tv I think this all can be tracked down to the fact that the tmdb id is not being obtained during the initial scrape. I have not changed any settings recently. I'm running version 3.0.5972.0. Has anyone else experienced this, and how can it be fixed? thanks Edited August 28, 2016 by fonzie
Luke 42085 Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Hi there, welcome. The first thing I would do is update to the latest version of Emby Server. Then can you discuss a specific example? Thanks!
fonzie 22 Posted August 28, 2016 Author Posted August 28, 2016 (edited) The reason I haven't updated to the latest version is because I'm running it as an unRAID docker and it has no update available through the utility. I know it's possible to update it manually, but I'm not quite sure how to do it. Edit: I updated to the latest version of emby quite easily actually. For those that are wondering a quick an easy way to update to the latest version even when the docker says it's up to date: I clicked on "edit" for the docker and didn't make any changes. I then clicked save and it automatically pulled the latest version of the docker. Also, seems like the update fixed the scraping issue. Edited August 28, 2016 by fonzie
