Changing Media Library

Hi,

 

as a newbie I have made a mistake by setting up the Media Libraries :-(

I have made for each physical path a new media library, Now I realized that it it much easier to make one "Movie" library and point all physically pathes to this.

 

How can I change this?

 

Can I delete the not needed Media Libraries and add the pathes to one Main Library? What happens to the Meta Data I have saved in my folders?

Good day,

 

Yes, you can change type, delete library name, add, remove ... etc.

 

Nothing will be change to the metadata at your folder, after library scan finish, emby db will update, that all.

You may run into issues, depending on how nested your library structure is.

What do you mean?

At the moment my folders look so:

Library Filme_1 = d:\media_1\Filme_1

Library Filme_2 = e:\media_2\Filme_2

....
