[BUG Report] - In "Live TV -> Guide Providers -> Map Cannel"

Hey guys,

I've just installed latest Emby release in Ubuntu 16.04 X64 and I've added some streams and xmltv feed.

Please note that the tv m3u playlist is dynamic and also the xmltv feed.

What happens is that I map a couple of channels and after I save and exit the view, I go again in map channels, all the channels available in the m3u are mapped to the last channel I mapped.

The problem is that the mapped channels configuration is not saved as it supposed to.

Please let me know if everything is clear. We can get in touch and show you what exactly happens.

Try restarting the server everytime you update the m3u. I don't think this is a bug, and if it is you should look at how to report a bug.

do all the channels in the m3u have the same channel number?

Hi Admin for your kindness.

My m3u file is in this format:

#EXTM3U
#EXTINF:-1,Stream1
#EXTINF:-1,Stream2
#EXTINF:-1,Stream3
#EXTINF:-1,Stream4

Is it possible to know how the m3u files are being processed and what's the correct format I should use in order to have correctly mapped the xml channels with the m3u streams?

Thanks,
Cristian

Thanks Luke for the instructions, I'll try and let you know what the results are.

Hi Luke,

Adding unique channel number does not help getting rid of duplicated name or fixing the epg issue.

Posting here a screen shot of my content would not be apropriate or a good idea.

Please find me in private and I will provide you all you need.

You need to refresh the guide after making the change.

I confirm the XMLTV channel mapping works if the m3u is formated as:

#EXTM3U
#EXTINF:1,Stream 1

There is another issue regarding duplicate stream names, but i'll address it thru other topic for which i open.

Thanks,

Cristian
