sh0rty 714 Posted August 22, 2016 Posted August 22, 2016 (edited) When I click the Trailer button on details page, the trailer played is englisch everytime, even the URL specified in the Emby generated movie NFO is a german trailer. These ones are just examples for most of my movie (if not all). Using latest Dev Server, but happening for a longer time. Anything I am missing or I have misconfigured? I have the trailers plugin installed from which the called URLs are. Even uninstalling the trailer plugin and deleting the channel cache does not solve this, since the linked trailers in english remain. BTW, a URL field in Metadata manager could it make easier to check and replace Trailers. How do I get Emby to use the NFO specified trailer in german language for my movies beside the installed Trailers plugin? Example 1: When clicking the Trailer button, the following URL for the englisch trailer is called by Emby Server: http://cdn.movie-list.com/hd/londonhasfallenb720.mp4 But in movie NFO generated by Emby, the following URL is specified: plugin://plugin.video.youtube/?action=play_video&videoid=47O8RQFYPbc which is linked to the german trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=47O8RQFYPbc Example 2: When clicking the Trailer button, the following URL for the englisch trailer is called by Emby Server: http://videos.movie-list.com/classics/FLV/dirtydancing.mp4 But in movie NFO generated by Emby, the following URL is specified: plugin://plugin.video.youtube/?action=play_video&videoid=RBCUPQV5Vb8 which is linked to the german trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RBCUPQV5Vb8 And so on and so on.... Luke 42077 Posted August 22, 2016 Posted August 22, 2016 the trailer plugin gets higher priority because youtube trailers in nfo are not playable by all apps, and even when they are, often require launching youtube which is not quite as elegant
sh0rty 714 Posted August 22, 2016 Author Posted August 22, 2016 The magic question then, can I change the priority so that trailers from NFO in foreign language are preferred and the Trailer Plugin acts as fallback? Or how do I get totally rid of the Trailer plugin so that Emby uses the youtube trailers?
Luke 42077 Posted August 22, 2016 Posted August 22, 2016 Unfortunately there is no setting for that right now. If you take away the trailer plugin then you won't get trailers at all in apps that don't support youtube playback.
bluemonkey07 590 Posted August 22, 2016 Posted August 22, 2016 (edited) Except for local trailers right? Edited August 22, 2016 by Vidman

And if I take away the trailer plugin the trailers from the plugin somehow remain in my library even with a library scan. That's what i tried today... Edited August 22, 2016 by shorty1483
