Transcoding Issue in iOS App

Hey everyone,

I'm having an issue with video playback in the iOS version of Emby. FLAC files seem to play back fine, but any time I try to play a video (whether remotely or on my home network), the activity wheel spins for a second and then disappears, the video never playing. Subsequent attempts fail immediately, flashing the activity wheel for only a few frames.

Based on my own (ignorant) perusal of the server logs, it seems like the server fails to create/read the transcoding temp files. I did change the directory for those temp files in the Playback/Transcoding settings, but I tried reverting it to defaults and had the same issue.

...Interestingly, I had not tried the Android app until I sat down to write this post, but the same video played back without issue there. I had initially thought it was something wrong with either the transcoding settings, or ffmpeg or something, but it seems iOS specific. The Android app handled different types of video and audio without a problem, so maybe the issue isn't server side.

Any ideas? I primarily use iOS away from home, so it's kind of a big deal to me to get that working. I wasn't sure if I should provide my full, gigantic server log or just an excerpt.

Thanks in advance.
