sh0rty 714 Posted August 20, 2016 Posted August 20, 2016 If a new item is added to the database, currently I have to run the syncing theme media process manually after the Kodi sync completed. Is there a possibility to implement an auto trigger after syncing, during syncing or once a day?

Actually, I would love to rework that section of the code and turn the theme sync into an "enable theme" setting, which would automatically add any themes found as the item is added to the library. Recognized when music theme is direct streamed, the files created by Emby server in transcoding directory don't get deleted. Angelblue05 4132 Posted August 21, 2016 Posted August 21, 2016 (edited) Well it's a bug. But truth is, since It's not a seamless process to sync themed media, I didn't add the deletion on reset. What is fairly worrying though is it looks like the tvtunes Kodi addon will soon be departing from the official Kodi repository: http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=287562 If that does happen, skins will not be able to auto install it...maybe we would be better off going back to how I had it implemented in the old MB3 addon which did the theme playing without using tvtunes. One for the future possibly 2

I'm one of these people having trouble lol was this implemented to be automatic? or am I still missing this sync media option?
Angelblue05 4132 Posted October 3, 2016 Posted October 3, 2016 Not yet, it will come but right now the focus is on updating playback. You can still sync your themes manually, by launching the emby add-on > sync theme media (should be one of the last options in the list)
