n00b42 41 Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 Hi, one of my movies did not have a proper thumb. Instead of creating a local one I decided to do a proper one and upload it to FanArt, after some issues it was finally approved. Then I tried to select it in Emby but it just does not show up.... Movie > Edit Image > Search > Thumb > "All languages" Did I miss something? Is the search result buffered, or are only specific thumbs from FanArt displayed? (I even tried turning debug log on, but that only showed the client connections, not the server requrests to fanart/moviedb etc.) Thanks MS
Solution Happy2Play 9783 Posted August 18, 2016 Solution Posted August 18, 2016 (edited) Depending on your status with Fanart.tv you will have to wait. Requests to fanart without a personal API key return results that were approved over 7 days ago. With a personal API key that drops to 48 hours and if you are also a fanart VIP member that will further drop to around 10 minutes. Most providers are setup this way. So if you created it why not just put it in the media folder? Edited August 19, 2016 by Happy2Play 1
Luke 42085 Posted August 19, 2016 Posted August 19, 2016 Yup, go support fanart by getting a VIP api key and then it will be as fast as you were expecting.
