almond 0 Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 I've literally just upgraded from MB2.6.2 which I've loved and been using for the past 5+ years. pretty happy with emby except that I've run into a slight problem with the metadata manager. It works great for movies that have their metadata downloaded and corrected. But for TV series and random video files - I just want to use the file name as the title. unfortunately it is picking up the title metadata from the files themselves - some of which have a correct value, some have nothing and some have nonsense written into them. is there a way to specify for a certain library to just use the file name as the title?
Luke 42086 Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 Hi, unfortunately this can't be configured at this time, you'll just have to correct them manually using the metadata manager. However, now that you mention it, this has come up a couple times so I'll try and get a setting added for the next server release. Thanks.
slhopkins33 0 Posted July 18, 2020 Posted July 18, 2020 I really would appreciate this, I'm having issues with Emby replacing filename with shorter titles and I've been unable to fix it. I just want it to use filename but nothing is working.
