frankw 10 Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 Hey all I have a strange problem where my server crashed when accessed using a Samsung Smart TV using the emby client, just wondering if anyone can help? Other clients (Kodi, Web) are all fine. I have attached logs. The problem is repeatable and has spanned the last few versions of emby. I have also updated the Samsung client to the lastest version and the problem is the same. Thanks, Frank server-63606556800.txt unhandled_63a3af68-5edb-4a45-87f6-1759163de8b1.txt
Luke 42077 Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 That crash appears to be happening in a way we're unable to catch and handle. I would suggest updating the mono runtime to either 4.2.3.4 or 4.4.2.
frankw 10 Posted August 14, 2016 Author Posted August 14, 2016 Ok great will give that a try and report back, thanks Luke.

anderbytes 141 Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 (edited) Pretty please? I'm like Usain Bolt, I don`t like staying behind Edited August 16, 2016 by anderbytes
Luke 42077 Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 Yes we are gradually getting all of the packages bumped to 4.4.2. 1
nick.becker65 0 Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 When do you anticipate this? Just trying to figure out if I should go follow the install guide in mono page for adding their repository and update or just wait it out for emby to update. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
frankw 10 Posted August 20, 2016 Author Posted August 20, 2016 Following the guide took about 2min. I haven't tested it yet with my original problem (as the TV is at a friend's house), but no problems with stability since the UG and I have multiple devices streaming from emby.
