Koleckai Silvestri 1154 Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 http://localhost:8096/mediabrowser/dashboard/tvshows.html In the menu, I would like there to be an entry "Missing". This would show missing episodes from the latest season/series for each show. For people building their collection, via whatever means they use, this can be very handy. Currently you have to go through each show and select the current season and manually create a list. Thanks for your consideration.
Luke 42077 Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 You're aware of the missing filter in the episodes tab, right?
Koleckai Silvestri 1154 Posted January 11, 2014 Author Posted January 11, 2014 (edited) That shows all seasons. AS an Example I have "The Simpsons" in my system. It has 25 seasons. I have 6 episodes of Season 25 recorded. The system adds in the other ~528 missing episodes. This isn't more effective than going through each show individually to find out what is missing from the current season. Currently this filter says I am missing 5947 episodes. In reality, I am probably missing 7-12 from the current season. What I am looking for is: if show equals continuing and latest season is missing episodes then show these episodes. If you added "Continuing" and "Ended" to the filter, this would work as well. Edited January 11, 2014 by Wayne Luke
AdrianW 1058 Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 (edited) You're aware of the missing filter in the episodes tab, right? Luke - how does this work? I've recently discovered I had a missing episode of a particular series, so I thought I better try to check if I had any more. I remembered this feature, so I selected the Episodes tab under TV and nothing shows up at all (I just get "0-0 of 0"). I'm wondering how this would even work, as the missing episode isn't there, so how could it show up anyway? Edited January 27, 2014 by AdrianW
AdrianW 1058 Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 It relies upon data collected by our internet providers so if you have that disabled it won't work. OK, that's it - thanks. (I'm still using MetaBrowser)
