New videos not adding

Hi i am new to emby. I add all my videos and they show up fine but any new video i add don't show up. they are in the same folder i added to library. what can i do to fix this?

i download mkv file to download folder (C:\Users\owner\Downloads) and that folder is added to emby library and other videos form the initial scan shows up but not new ones.

Do they show up after another library scan?  Is it an issue of real time monitoring hasn't picked them up yet or is disabled?

Hi, can you offer a little more detail than that? what content type is the emby library? can you show us a screenshot of the contents of that folder? thanks.

they did not show up with a library scan.
