emby service crashing during library scan

First of all, Hi ! and sorry for opening a support ticket, but im stuck :|

I reinstalled my openmediavault server from the 1.9 version to 3.0.30 - clean install, after that the problem started.

During the library scan, the emby service crashes. It starts, does few % and goes down. After a restart it reaches the same % and few more and crashes again. I restarted the service approx 5 times to get to 60%.

I turned debug logging on - maybe you can point me to the right direction.

I attached my last 3 logs.

Thanks !

Hi, welcome. I would try updating to the latest version of Emby server and then report back. Thanks!

the server appears to be unable to launch ffmpeg for whatever reason. I think if you fix that, then this will resolve the issue. I don't know why it's having an issue, possibly execute permissions. You can also try downloading ffmpeg and customizing the path under playback -> transcoding

make sure the emby service account has execute permissions on the files you downloaded.

well, just to be sure i gave 777 permissions on the files, but no luck - same behaviour ... getting to think that that OMV build is cursed :)

have you tried posting in the omv forums? obviously this isn't a widespread issue or we'd have more reports of it.

well ... i will try my luck at the OMV guys ... didnt the logs tell anything else besides the ffmpeg error ?

It looks to me the server is having trouble executing ffmpeg.
