pr3dict 33 Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 After a few days of the random crashes that required server restarts, I cannot get the server to come online anymore. The logs have a bunch of recent log files when I try to start it but they are all empty. Attached is the last log that actually has anything in it. The other logs are unhandled_..... (won't let me upload because its empty) I'm running debian btw. server-63606124799-Snipped.txt
Solution Luke 42077 Posted August 8, 2016 Solution Posted August 8, 2016 Can you attached an unsnipped version? Thanks. Also, is your disk full? database or disk is full System.Data.SQLite.SQLiteException 1
pr3dict 33 Posted August 8, 2016 Author Posted August 8, 2016 (edited) Can you attached an unsnipped version? Thanks. Also, is your disk full? database or disk is full System.Data.SQLite.SQLiteException hmm would you look at that it is... I have it in a VM and only gave it 16GB of storage space and it seems like its full which is weird because the only thing on it is emby. Edit: On second look, it seems like my VMtools are telling me its using all of whats provisioned but I dont think thats actually the case. Attached is the non snipped version. It is kinda big though. server-63606124799.txt Edited August 8, 2016 by pr3dict
Luke 42077 Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 then i would just give it more space, and/or disable metadata related features that you don't need. you could disable downloading images for people, chapter image extraction if it's enabled. also uninstalling cover art will reduce the size of images that are cached. additionally, you can periodically clear out the server's cache folder although i would consider this a last resort as it will result in degraded performance for emby apps.

I have all the artwork and what not being saved in the folder with the movie so thats on a separate device. I am unsure as to what is using the space but I will find out! My real issue is this thing not starting. I cannot seem to figure that out.
Luke 42077 Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 The logs look normal so it's difficult to say. i would remove all plugins and see if it occurs with just the core server.

Go figure, heh it was the storage issue. I just expanded my partition to 40gb and it started right up. I think it may have had an issue because the temp transcoding path was on this small virtual drive and it filled up pretty quickly. All is started and working so far though. Now I just need to figure out why emby WMC edition doesnt like to play my movies to MPC-HC. Buttttt thats another discussion for another day. Thanks again Luke.
