rbeier1221 2 Posted August 7, 2016 Posted August 7, 2016 As of this past weekend I have started having issues with playing back recordings. The playbacks start fine, but once I start skipping past commercials and/or skipping back, playback will freeze. Sometimes it will start to play again, but often only for a few seconds, then it freezes again. This seemed to have started after the most recent server update. I am on the server 3.0.6030.0, app version 1.2.24a, and run the NextPVR plugin. I have tested this with the Roku app and I am not seeing the same issue. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the server, tried the Beta (this was worse), uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I have also disabled both bitstreaming audio options (this did seem to help and SD shows seem to work now with limited testing, but HD still hangs) and have adjusted the video bitstream from auto all the way down to 2mbps with the same results. Anything else I might try to get this resolved? Let me know if there is any more info you need. Thanks.
rbeier1221 2 Posted August 7, 2016 Author Posted August 7, 2016 Just sent logs for this. Hopefully it worked correctly. Under rbeier.
ebr 16169 Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 There are no app side errors in your log. The item is transcoding/remuxing. Can you post the transcode or remux logs that were generated?
rbeier1221 2 Posted August 8, 2016 Author Posted August 8, 2016 (edited) I'll see what I can do tonight. Edit - pulled logs from the server. I assume this is what you need. Let me know if you need anything further. transcodelog1.txt transcodelog2.txt transcodelog3.txt transcodelog4.txt transcodelog5.txt transcodelog6.txt transcodelog7.txt transcodelog8.txt transcodelog9.txt Edited August 8, 2016 by rbeier1221
rbeier1221 2 Posted August 9, 2016 Author Posted August 9, 2016 As noted in a few other threads, now I can't play anything. Will resume testing this issue once the playback issue is corrected.
rbeier1221 2 Posted August 9, 2016 Author Posted August 9, 2016 I upgraded to the latest server Beta per a post in the Windows server forums. Seems to have fixed my issue, but only with limited testing. I will do more thorough testing this evening.
rbeier1221 2 Posted August 10, 2016 Author Posted August 10, 2016 Did more testing and the latest server update has fixed it. Thanks!
