Just like what we see in TuneIn, could also be done with videos, connect automatically to a channel in YouTube, doenload content (and store in a Emby Library)

 

I thought of that because there are lots of videos that should be kept for several reasons, so we have to manually download them and save in HD

Who is we?  Emby does not download trailers from YouTube.

I will admit my mistake, the plugin used to do that in the past, but now it only streams them.

TubeMate is an application that can help download facebook, youtube and most other social platforms

There are also browser plug ins available in the web store that can do the job for you. i use facebook video downloader for the same .

Or there's always the legal way of paying for youtube premium giving you the ability to download using features directly implemented in the site/apps....
