Ok, the latest beta is designed to prevent this from happening, it's not going to trigger a mass image download if that's what you're looking for. Your best course of action with the beta will be to do a manual refresh of a movie, and that will bring in actor images for that movie. Then once you've seen that, you can try multiple movies using the multi-select tool or refreshing a top level folder.

OK... I did a refresh on a single movie and it downloaded actor images for that movie.  I will try this at the library level and see what happens but I would expect it to gradually populate all my actor images.  Will a refresh for my music library also take care of artists?

Update...  Actors for my movies have seemingly all populated over night, but thus far I am not seeing the same result for music artists.  Album artists have always been there and are fine.  Album artists are the only music artists that show up under artists...

Luke, so the folder level refresh forced the missing actor images to be downloaded but the same refresh at the music folder level has not populated any music artists.  Any suggestions?

Luke, I'm not sure what you're asking because I discussed my problem with not getting actor images and music artist images in prior posts.  The latest beta combined with your suggestion to do a refresh at my movie folder level has forced my actor images to download successfully.  So that's been fixed.  However, refreshing at the root music folder has NOT forced any music artist images to download.  The only music artists that I have are those that were also Album Artists (which pre-existed as folder.jpg in each Album Artist folder) and they are the same images.  Unlike actors which had a default icon, there are no default images for any music artists.  Most of my music artists did have images prior to doing a complete clean install of Emby Server.  My music is tagged correctly. So I am looking for help to force the download of music artists...  Hope this clarifies things.  Thank you.

And there is nothing more that needs to be done to get those images so obviously there has to be some unexpected reason why they're not downloading, so we need to start from the beginning. thanks.
