yaksplat 68 Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 So, currently it appears that permissions for a user are based solely on the rating level that they are designated in the UI and the rating on a show/movie. Other than artificially changing ratings on an item to get around the rating cutoff, is there a way to make a more granular rating decision for a user? Example: My boys like star wars and their rating cutoff for their user is PG as they are all under 10 Star Wars episodes 3 and 7 are both PG-13, yet i'm fine with granting them permission to watch it However, there are plenty of PG-13 movies that I do not want them to have access to How would you handle that scenario?
Solution bluemonkey07 590 Posted August 5, 2016 Solution Posted August 5, 2016 By using the custom rating feature. The movie will still show the actual rating but alters the actual parental control rating 1
