Reading Video Stream Securely

Hello All,

 

Trying to use Emby Server for our Video based application. How ever all that we need is video security and the video should be played only once.

 

We have tried uploading a video and playing it outside the browser window. It asked for a Login credentials while using different browser. But just played when tried to access on the same browser with new tab. We understand this by applying the session logic.

 

How best this can suit to our requirement that the video playback should happen only once per user.

Hi, welcome. I'm not really sure to be honest, other than possibly deleting the video after it's not needed anymore.

 

Actually you could use the block by tags feature to manually block it after watching, but it would have to be a manual process.

We already have a Web API solution to stream it from our own server. But we are facing lot of buffering issue with our own server. So we want to host the video into a streaming server such as Emby. Our main concern is related to the security of the video, Can that be assured using this service? If yes we are ready to have the Premier account as well.
