Screen Brightness keeps going dark

For some reason when ever i got to play a movie or tv show the screen brighness goes very dark the video is direct playing and is very noticable also tried loading same videos in plex but they dont have that problem colours are bright etc really want to figure this out my tv settings remain the same on plex and emby

Seems noone has a solution either its a real shame i wanna use and like this app but with the darkness of it ruins it for me cant even ajust the tv setting to get it looking good

Since no one else is having this problem it may help to give us some of the information requested in the pinned post.   Whether it's a  setting or bug it will need to be reproducible for someone to figure out what is causing it.  I'm not having this issue and I use this app a lot.

Having the same issue on my samsung H6200.

With the app (version 2.2.0i) the image is darker.

Is there a solution to this problem?
