GR00F 2 Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Is there a way to use MBT with a non EHS type look? I've tried MBT but I really don't get along with the EHS tile look. I've always used chocolate theme with out EHS before. I really do want to use the new standalone MBT but just can't get used to the look. I know I might be in the minority here but I really like the uncluttered look of the first screen with no EHS. It's so simple and my wife knows what she is doing. Or would this be something I would have to wait for until themes have been created? Sorry if this has been covered before. I did search the forums but couldn't find anything relating to this.
GR00F 2 Posted January 10, 2014 Author Posted January 10, 2014 No that's not possible. OK thanks for letting me know. I guess I'll have to get used to it or stay with MBC
Mopar_Mudder 14 Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 (edited) No that's not possible. Not possible right now or never? I assume that once people start making themes it could be done? I also don't care for the EHS look Edited January 10, 2014 by Mopar_Mudder
Koleckai Silvestri 1154 Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 If MBT ends up with the ability to be themed, then people will probably provide a variety of looks. Including the horizontal and vertical menus popular elsewhere.
robnix 3 Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 Yea, and I would suspect the default theme will need this option because people are going to want it for small children so that there's only a small number of things to click on. When my child was small could navigate MB and XBMC more effectively than my wife ;-) 1
Aphid 212 Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 A replacement theme could do this, but I would not recommend anyone attempt to write a new theme until MBT has become more stable.
