Is there a way to remove the osd on trailers and intros?

I've been playing with cinema mode and really liking it, but I'd love if there's a way to shut off the osd while trailers or intros are playing. I've always liked either being surprised by a trailer, or trying to guess what it is and the osd kinda ruins that. Also, I'm using a custom intro and the osd gets in the way a bit on that one.

Well you need to be able to use the buttons inside the OSD, if that's your preferred input method.

Well, I guess it's not important to get rid of it, but can it be prevented from automatically showing up at the beginning of file play?
