analogscott 2 Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 I might be missing something simple. I installed Media Browser 3.x, then was reading about MBT, sounds interesting and i'm aware that it's alpha or less. I installed it and when i run it, i'm stuck on a please sign in screen, but for the life of me i can't figure out where to sign in. Any ideas?
crashkelly 62 Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Might be a silly question, but did you create a user profile in Media Browser Server? If you did, did you happen to hide it from login screens? Just blurting out what came to mind and I can see the thought of hiding an administrative user from login screens for security. CHeers 1
Luke 42077 Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 yea that's not right. try maximizing the window just to make sure there's not a display quirk. are all your users hidden? that should be ok, just checking thoguh. 1
analogscott 2 Posted January 10, 2014 Author Posted January 10, 2014 (edited) I did try maximizing for a video quirk, I'm a professional IT tech so that came to mind, but i did hide all the users. In MB classic, i liked going straight to the manual login, so i hid the 3 users i had setup. It was after all this that i installed MBT. I just unhid a user and sure enough the login is there now. I'm coming from XBMC and like what i've seen so far. I'm looking forward to exploring it further. Thanks for the help and great job on this application. Edited January 10, 2014 by analogscott 1
Luke 42077 Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 thanks. there's bug there. it should go to the manual login screen when there are no publicly visible users
