FYI, I am using an MCE remote too.. H900 with the Media Center SE device to be exact. 

 

Based on your post, Luke, I'm thinking an update is on the horizon?

Was just about to report my testing but I guess I'm too late. Happy to have it fixed though.

 

Surprising to me that a user asked me how to get rid of it. It never occurred to him to just move the mouse off screen. I guess ET is getting close enough to "consumer electronics" that people don't think in terms of it being a PC.

Agreed. Just commenting on how close it is to NOT seeming like a PC which is the end game IMO.
