Emby kodi add-on constantly updating db

Does anyone else have this? I'm very happy with everything otherwise but the constant notification is getting me. Would love a solution.

Thanks for your constant support in the Kodi forums

 

You will need to adjust the minimum number item for the dialog to display. In the add-on settings > sync option.

 

Emby will keep trying to identify content that's not properly identified. This generates many updates every day, which the add-on processes. There is nothing we can really do, except make you aware of the situation.

@@Angelblue05 - i have it set to a higher number and it still seems to be having the issue.

 

also I am noticing that watched status keeps getting botched between machines.

 

I can make a whole series watched and the next day its right back unwatched. 

 

where in emby  can I see stuff that is not properly identified? i'll try and fix that at the source.

Ok, well the best way is just to pull up your Kodi log, check after the fast sync log lines and you should see the content with name, of what is being updated constantly. I don't know if reports in Emby also cover unidentified content...

Do you have sonarr installed or anything that would mess with your nfos? If so, I would disable any writing to nfo outside of emby. Some of them will wipe the watch status saved and emby will mark stuff as unwatched.
