I installed emby on a fresh load of Fedora Server 24 by adding the stable repo, and running sudo dnf install emby-server.  emby-server will not start.  Cockpit provides the following information.

I searched the forum for the emby log directory and found that it is supposed to be located in /share.   I do not have a /share directory.

ps -ef |grep emby-server indicates.

here is the install showing I am not missing any dependencies.

sudo dnf install emby-server
[sudo] password for user:
Last metadata expiration check: 0:47:45 ago on Sun Jul 31 08:52:32 2016.
Package emby-server-3.0.6020-52.1.x86_64 is already installed, skipping.
Dependencies resolved.
Nothing to do.
Complete!

Where are the emby logs located in fedora, or is there a journalctl command to view emby logs?

You need to create a SELinux policy or set SELinux to permissive mode.

Search the forum since there is a recent thread about it. This problems seems to only affect F24 tough.

Thanks.

For future users with this problem.

Here are the commands for setting permissive.

sudo setenforce 0
sudo getenforce
Permissive

This is fine on a Lan, but if you plan on running anything open, then a profile should be created.
