jasonmcroy 316 Posted July 30, 2016 Posted July 30, 2016 In the live TV section settings we currently have optional record paths for Movies and Series Recording which I have set up to separate my recorded movies and shows. Could you add an option to set a recording path for Sports? It would be nice to have this in a separate folder from my regular TV Shows.

If you set a default recording path and check create sub-folders, a sport folder will be created in the recordings folder/library.
jasonmcroy 316 Posted July 30, 2016 Author Posted July 30, 2016 Yes, I have played around with that. However, that creates those other folder as sub directories under the Recordings folder. I would prefer to have a more direct path like the existing TV Recordings and Movies path.

Sport came up a few times. http://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/34419-recorded-tv-direction/
jasonmcroy 316 Posted July 30, 2016 Author Posted July 30, 2016 Yeah, I recall that thread. I just went through it again since you linked to it. I do remember trying it out the way it's set up now by checking the box to create the sub folders and it's not too bad of a way to handle what I am asking about. I think I am just too accustomed to having each type of media displayed by itself to click into.
