educolnago 0 Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 (edited) I followed the installation process by topic: http://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/22921-synology-setup/ But when I try to start the service, it does not start. Luke 42077 Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 We have a new installation procedure for Synology users. It's very easy and is now on our website: http://emby.media/nas-server.html All Synology users are recommended to use this going forward (if your model supports it).
educolnago 0 Posted July 29, 2016 Author Posted July 29, 2016 Sorry for the inconvenience. To reload the page I saw the instructions. But, the Emby yet isn't showed in Package Center.
Luke 42077 Posted July 29, 2016 Posted July 29, 2016 You saw the instructions, but did you read them ?
educolnago 0 Posted July 29, 2016 Author Posted July 29, 2016 I follow them, but the Emby not appear in the list of packages.
shad0h 8 Posted July 29, 2016 Posted July 29, 2016 (edited) I had the same issue, but as the guide suggests (near the bottom) you may have to wait a few minutes before it populates with the Emby Server app - patience is a virtue... Edited July 29, 2016 by shad0h
educolnago 0 Posted July 29, 2016 Author Posted July 29, 2016 Even today, Emby is not shown in the Package Center.
woozle 2 Posted July 30, 2016 Posted July 30, 2016 It's only for Intel; you don't have an Intel Synology NAS, yours is ARM.
educolnago 0 Posted July 30, 2016 Author Posted July 30, 2016 I give up. When there is a manual that actually teaches how to install can test the App. Right now I'm just being thrown possibilities that may or may not (this is more certain) function.
Niz 1 Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Refresh the packages after adding the repository. Worked for me. And there is a manual...makes it quite apparent what you need to do step by step. http://emby.media/nas-server.html 1
