video cancelled upon network change / resume point not set

Hi!

 

While travelling on our national train network, I switch between mobile network and WLAN.

 

I understand that - after changing my network identity - video playback is interrupted until the connection to the server is re-established. So far so good.

 

However, quite often, video playback is not only interrupted for a short time, but is cancelled alltogether; as if I stopped playback....

 

Really upsetting is, that no resume position is set/updated in this case. Video playback can be restarted only from the beginning or a previous resume point.

 

Would it be possible to - at least - update the resume point?
