Can't connect through app.emby.media

Having a bit of an odd issue,

 

I have Emby server running on a Windows 10 laptop with a fixed IP address. If I connect directly to the IP I get the web interface. But if I go to app.emby.media I can see my server but if I try to connect then I get a connection failure message.

 

I've previously had a Windows 10 server on my desktop and on a raspberry pi, both of those worked fine through app.emby.media, and as far as I can tell there is no difference between the servers and no changes to the network config. 

 

Server version is 3.0.6000.0

Hi, can you try a manual server connection on app.emby.media? During the login process, click change server, then add a new server manually with your address. let me know if that makes a difference. thanks.

That fixed it, the manual connection worked then next time I clicked on my server it connected fine, thanks for the help!
