Error saving TV provider...

My tuner seems to have changed IP addresses and I was not getting any live TV. Emby still had the old IP. So I deleted the tuner and when I try to add it back with the correct IP I am getting this error. Is this a know issue?

 

 

 

Its a HDhomerun and I can play channels using the PC app Quick TV.

Update the firmware. Your tuner is missing an api that the server is depending on. If you update to the latest version of the server it will work around it, although it's better to do both.

first i will upgrade the server tonight. For some reason firmware updates scare me a bit. i am still running WMC for some things, some day i will kill it off all the way.

 

what firmware do you recommend? 20150826 or 20160630atest2?

I am on the latest firmware and it's working fine for me.

thanks guys, what does the beta firmware give me? this needs to be a super stable instance and i normally shy away from beta fr that reason...

You don't have much of a choice, if you want it to work correctly. I install each new beta, and I never have any issues. Here's where you can read the change log.
